About DTV Ready

A US service that checks your Thailand DTV file before you pay the fee

The $400 consular fee is not refundable. Most refusals come down to paperwork problems that were visible before the application was ever filed. DTV Ready exists to find those problems while they can still be fixed.

What we do

We prepare and review Destination Thailand Visa applications for Americans. In practice that is four things: a free readiness check that tells you where you stand, including whether you qualify yet; a document-by-document review against the requirements published by the Thai mission that covers your state; a written report setting out what is missing, weak or inconsistent, and what to do about each item; and a walkthrough of the official e-Visa filing, which you complete yourself.

What we are not

We are not a law firm and not immigration attorneys, and we are not affiliated with the Royal Thai Government. We do not submit applications on your behalf and we never log in to your e-Visa account. Nobody can guarantee a visa. Consular officers decide, they can ask for more at any point, and they can refuse without giving a reason. What we can do is make sure your file does not hand them an easy reason.

How the work happens

  1. The free check comes first. You see your result without giving us an email address. If something disqualifies you today, we say so and tell you what would have to change.
  2. Purchase second. Before we start, you confirm the basics: citizenship or permanent residence, funds, passport validity, and your understanding that the consular fee is separate and non-refundable.
  3. Then the documents. We tell you exactly what we need and how to send it, and we ask for the minimum required to do the review properly.
  4. Then the written review. It refers to your documents specifically, but never reproduces them.
  5. Then you file, through the official Thai e-Visa system, with your file in order, before you pay the fee.

What we never ask for

Social Security numbers, card numbers, or login details of any kind, whether bank, email or e-Visa. We ask you to black out account numbers on statements before sending them. We keep application documents for 12 months after your application resolves so we can help with a renewal, and we delete them on request within 30 days. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Check your file before you pay the fee

Our free readiness check runs your situation against the current requirements in about a minute. If something would sink your application, it is better to know now than after you have spent $400.
